Too many things went wrong this year for it to have been as much fun as the last. Not being able to go into the Comic Market (why did they change the name to that? until the last day was probably the worst. Damn that exam on Saturday. And damn me, for not being able to wake up when I'm supposed to (I'M SORRY GUYS D: ).

BUT ANYHOW!

I wanted to write down some memories of AN 09 that I did enjoy so that I can remember that this year wasn't a complete loss. For example:

1. When my dad was driving me back to AN after my exam, he asked, "What time does the convention start?" And before he could say anything else, I saw a Knight of Rounds Suzaku cosplayer crossing the street and said "OMG I NEED TO GET A PICTURE OF HIM". Then my dad asked, "Eleven?"

It took me a while to realize that he wasn't talking about the Suzaku. XD


2. When I looked through the Comic Market, I finally saw some Code Geass art that I really liked. I think another artist was talking to the one at the desk displaying the art, and when they saw me, they asked for a picture. Then the artist at the desk gave me a discount and said something along the lines of, "You make a good Itachi." A compliment and discount? SCORE! That was awfully nice. : )


3. While in the Dealer's Room, an ANBU Kakashi stopped me for a picture. After he got his friends to take a picture of both of us together, this family was like "Oh, let's get a picture with the ninja!" And they told the Kakashi to stay too. That was kind of awkward, but pretty funny. I couldn't stay serious for the last picture because I was about to laugh.


And then there were a lot of people who kept telling me to look at them and then saying, "Nice eyes!" I thought that was kind of strange, cause I'm sure there are a lot of cosplayers wearing contacts. And mine weren't even Sharingan ones. XP

OH! And I got a picture of an Emperor Lelouch cosplayer. Siiiick.

So I guess it wasn't all that bad. Should've stopped being so shy about asking cosplayers for pictures way earlier than Sunday. And I'm going to start on my cosplays for next year this year to avoid staying up really late for nothing like I did this time around (and last year too >_> ). Gonna make these past two years my motivation for the next.
